Pune singer Jasraj Joshi was crowned winner of Sa Re Ga Ma 2012. Shenaz Akhtar from Ludhiana was second, Vishwajeet Borwankar from Mumbai sealed the third spot and Mohd Aman from Jaipur was the fourth winner! Content head of Zee TV, Ajay Bhalwankar said, "This season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa set new benchmarks with the quality of talented singers who were selected as Top 18. In the format also, we infused a lot of innovation this year alone with some powerhouse singers. The versatile and young talent brought in a lot of freshness to the show and they got rave reviews from industry stalwarts. Our esteemed mentors, Shankar Mahadevan, Sajid-Wajid and Rahul Ram guided the contestants in a way that helped them hone their skills further to become complete performers. The highlight of the finale was glitzy and action packed performance by Punjabi rapper, YO YO HONEY SINGH! This was Honey Singh's first television performance in India and he wowed audiences with his high voltage performance. He entered the stage suspended mid-air and sang a medley of his hit tracks, 'Angrezi beat', 'High heels', 'Brown rang' and 'Lonely' among others. Bollywood's favorite singer and anchor of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Javed Ali performed a medley of patriotic songs and paid homage to our Nation on the occasion of Republic Day. The most celebrated music director and brother duo, Sajid- Wajid presented all their hit chartbusters from their 2012 releases. They sang 'Chikni kamar', 'Fevicol se','Mashallah' and other hit numbers from Dabangg 2, Ek Tha Tiger & Rowdy Rathore. Mentor Shankar Mahadevan presented an act through which he portrayed the anger of our countrymen about the various heinous crimes that are committed against woman. His act showcased women empowerment.
