  1. I usually don't watch Hindi movies (see about 3-4 per year). Like the other reviewers noted, everything about this film is brilliant. You are literally transported back to the 1980s. The attention to detail is remarkable. I am sure people who watch it over and over again for the sole purpose of finding faults may find some. Considering the BUDGET of this film, it is on par with Argo. The acting is superb and not just by the main cast but by almost everyone even the extras with 5 seconds screen time who probably had one line. In my opinion, the film could've done without the romance as it detracts from the masterpiece this film is. It's understandable that the film makers also desire the lucrative profits from the CD music sales. If offered with subtitles, I could see this film achieving success the world over. The film is intelligent, has good dialogues, witty, at times delivers chuckles. It is also nostalgic because the attire, landscape, old tech reminds us of the ol days w/o smartphones, computers. Best Bollywood movie since 3 Idiots. It is absolutely mind boggling that films far inferior do so much better at the box office.
